High Grade Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt Critical Overview

By Brian Garvin

Have you ever been to a church festival? We hold those all the time, but not for the same reason as most of the other places. While our congregation holds various charity events throughout the year, we like to hold them for specific families who are in need and attend our church. This year we needed to find some sort of Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt.

It's always nice to hold an event such as this one because there are various charities willing to help out. Our situation consisted of needing as many poker tables as we could get our hands on. Eventually through several discussions and a little barter and trading, we were able to get ten poker tables. They were old and rugged, so it meant we had to do a little work on them. Everyone had a job from scraping, rebuilding, painting, by our was to do a little shopping. My job was to find some inexpensive Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt.

We only had about eight days before the weekend came, so everyone was definitely behind. In order to get what we needed fast I headed to the Internet and looked all over the place. The biggest problem I came across was being able to stay within the church's budget. Then again, I still had to find something that would be beneficial. It was definitely something that was going to be hard to figure out.

Thanks to tons of coffee and a few red bulls, I was able to search for 18 hours straight. The story itself would probably put you to sleep, so I'll make it short. After I stayed up until about 3am, I found a place that would give me enough felt for every single table. One of the reasons I picked this particular Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt was because of the color, but the authentic betting lines, durability and price all had their roles in it.

More importantly, we needed an additional benefit. Even though we had 10 tables donated to us, we had those old styled folding tables for extra play. However, we wanted to be able to put felt on these as well, even though most places didn't offer a setup for this type of assembly. Let's just say the tables were from the stone age, and we didn't expect to find a plausible answer.

However, the Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt we found offered a normal 36 x 72 inch cut, and the ability to staple it to a homemade table. While we didn't consider these homemade, we do have a carpenter and interior decorator who attend our church who were willing to work together. The end result was as if we just purchased brand new tables. They definitely went way beyond our expectations.

In the end, the event itself was a complete success. We were able to raise enough money to purchase the family a new home with an affordable price, get them squared away physically with health insurance, and set them up with enough food to last them the year. While I don't want to divulge too much about them, it was a great event that helped them tremendously. We couldn't have done it without the Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt.

Summer Breaks in the Languedoc

By Maritta Slatter

The Languedoc Roussillon France is diverse in its many regions. It's comprised of 26 regions to be exact. It's compiled of five departments, and borders other French regions like the Rhone-Alpes, the Auvergne, the Midi-Pyrenees, and the Provence-Alpes-Cote. Then on the other side it's bordered by Spain and Andorra, and the Mediterranean Sea. It's a complicated work of boundaries.

It's flag is seen displaying the 'cross of Languedoc' and the 'flag of Roussillon' as well. These are now only represented by colors of Red and yellow as a new flag is waved without referring back to the old provinces. These colors represent languedoc along with all its old territories that sprout from what was formerly the 'Crown of Aragon'.

This French region has been well known for its winemaking for many centuries. It's vineyards span out across 740, 300 acres, tripling the amount of area covered by the Bordeau. It took some entrepreneurs like Robert Skalli and James Herrick to transform it into a more viable wine country. They accomplished this by planting grapes better suited for winemaking and then petitioning for new AOC classifications.

Often called 'France's Sunbelt', this region lays out between the mountains of the Pyrennees and the Massif mountains. It holds 150 miles of curved coastline that is home to the most beautiful beaches known to France. The word itself, Languedoc, stems from the spoken tongue from back in the 13th century of France.

If you find yourself a visitor in Languedoc Roussillon, you'll find there is no lack or want for things to do. Neither is there a lack for things to see. If you are into nudity and enjoying unspoiled beaches, then you've landed at a great spot. If wine and architecture fuel your interests, your trip won't be wasted here.

Visiting the Languedoc Roussillon France is a trip that you'll never forget. You'll wonder why you haven't heard more about it before. It lies quietly between the mountains, beckoning for wandering pilgrims to stop by and have a peek at it's wonder and splendor.

Breakout Fading Explained (Part I)

By Ahmad Hassam

Fading breakouts refers to trading against breakouts when you believe that the currency prices will not be able to follow through action in the direction of the breakout. We fade breakouts when we believe that breakouts from support and resistance levels to be false and unsustainable.

Fading breakouts tends to be more effective as a short term strategy. It is not meant to be a long term strategy. False breakouts are also known as fakeouts. False breakouts are a bane for breakout traders but boon for breakout faders.

Support level attracts the buyers enthusiasm for higher bids. It prevents the price from falling further. The resistance level attracts the sellers enthusiasm for shorting and it prevents the price action from advancing higher. Support and resistance are seen as the price floor and the price ceiling respectively.

It is perfectly logical for the crowd to think that if the support level is penetrated, then the price action should move downward. The crowd is more likely to sell than to buy when the price action breaks the support level from above. The idea of trading breakouts appeals to many independent traders especially those new to currency trading. The crowd likes to trade the breakout.

The crowd is more likely to buy than to sell when the price action breaks the resistance level from below. The opposite is true of a price break above the resistance level. The crowd usually concludes that if the resistance is broken, then the prices are more likely to advance higher in the rally.

You will find clusters of stop loss orders placed by traders who have brought near the support level or have sold near the resistance level. Now you can also understand why there tends to be large number of entry stop orders placed just above a resistance level and also placed just below a support level.

When the currency prices crosses below the support level, long positions will be stopped out. Similarly, short positions will be stopped out when the price action breaks out above the resistance level.

You will ask why most breakouts fail? The fact that smart traders need to take the money from the novice and inexperience traders is one of the most important reasons why most breakouts fail. Always remember, it does not always pay to have the same mentality as the crowd. The majority will cash out of the trading game broke.

Smart money belongs to the big players who have a couple of tricks to sabotage the crowd. The crowd holds the dumb money with the weak hands. Money has to be made from the majority. Not from the minority who got it right and know how to play the games.

It causes vertical rallies or declines when the crowd scrambles to get out of their losing positions. Most money is made when the crowd turns out to be wrong. Read Part II for more on Breakout Fading.

Harnessing the Power of Your Subconscious Mind

By Graham J Milne

Do you remember the movie, "Field of Dreams, with Kevin Costner? In the movie, he hears the mantra, "If you build it, they will come." You may not know it, but you have your own "field of dreams." It's your subconscious mind. With your subconscious mind, if you "think" it, it will come. What will come? Whatever you want, truly.

Your subconscious mind holds the power to make you the person you want to be, create the life you want, and change things as they are to the way you want them to be; all from your subconscious mind. The mind is truly powerful and beautiful. With our subconscious minds, we can heal, transcend, feel good; or feel bad. Each of us has the power to change our worlds through the power of our subconscious minds, if we only choose to take control of them.

Sceptical, probably, allow me to give you a few examples of how powerful your mind is. One of my favorite examples to give is scientific, medically actually. This example is offered because the results have been documented time and time again. It is the Placebo Effect. Most commonly this term is used when medication trials are taking place. You have the control group, which are given a sugar pill (or placebo) and then the study group who get the actual med. Both groups are told what the medication is for and what it should do for them. Neither group knows if they are getting the actual medication or the placebo.

In absolutely each and every study the control group will provide similar results to the study group. Perhaps not in the same intensity, but you will have people that show improvements or exhibit changes or side effects that the medication can cause. Why is that? It is because they were told what the pill would do, they believed that they were being given the real pill and that they were either going to get better or get the side effects.

Think about this. When you go to the doctor and you are prescribed a new medication does the doctor tell you the side effects? If your doctor does then he/she is a rarity. You could be thinking that they are not doing their job. Actually they are. They know how powerful the mind is. They know that if they suggest that negative things could happen that you will either not take the medication or you will take it and get the side effects no matter how rare.

So as you can see, the subconscious mind is incredibly powerful, and can produce powerful results, through both the power of the subconscious mind and the power of suggestion. And as it works in medicine, so, too, can it work in your life to create positive change. What's preventing you from tapping into this most amazing power? You may want to use the power of suggestion to change the way your subconscious mind "talks to you."

You can use visualization to change the way you see things, too. Visualization is a very simple technique that really, really works. You can do this in a couple of different ways. Number one, close your eyes and visualize in your mind's eye what you want, seeing it as though it were right there in front of you.

Another way to visualize that's very effective, as well as with the first technique, is to create a physical picture of what you want. For example, if you want a new car, you can find a picture of the car you want in a magazine or something similar. Put that picture on your refrigerator so that you see it several times a day. Or, better yet, have a friend take a picture of you standing next to that car. As you see that picture of you standing next to that car over and over again, it eventually becomes imprinted on your subconscious mind that you are to have that car, and you eventually will have it as a reality.

Although this has been common knowledge for years to the really rich and high achievers, it has only been recently that scientists have started to understand the very real scientific process associated with this.

At subatomic levels matter ceases to be 'solid' and is shown to be pure energy. Quantum physics has shown beyond doubt that this energy can be manipulated by the mind. In fact as strange as it seems, quantum physics actually shows that this energy can not exist without the mind of the observer.

So matter/energy only exists because it is being observed; in other words it is the mind which is responsible for the matter existing - not the other way around. All matter and hence all reality has been proven to be a creation of our mind. This is the true meaning of 'subconscious mind power'!

In fact this is what the ancient religions have been saying for many thousands of years and with new understandings in quantum physics, modern science is at last beginning to catch up. Whatever your spiritual belief may be, there is no denying that the science of quantum physics works.

So if you could change your life just by thinking about it, wouldn't you? All you have to do is harness your subconscious mind power. Use it to your advantage instead of letting it control you. Spend the next week using affirmations or visualization techniques to acquire what you want. Make it something small at first and when you see that it works make yourself a new life by developing your subconscious mind power.

Buying A Home In The Caribbean And Living The Good Life

By Chris Channing

It's a dream of many to move to a quiet island and live the rest of your days in a solidified peace. For those who decide to make that a reality, the Caribbean islands are a great spot to visit. All you need to do is prepare yourself for living in a different culture, while enjoying the luxury you originally sought.

All foods on the island are not fresh as you would see in areas of the United States. Sometimes you will notice that foods you see one day will be gone for several others. This is because most of the food you see in the store will be delivered. As a result you will also probably pay a bit more than what you are familiar with paying due to the costs of delivery.

The Caribbean islands are a great way to escape for vacation, but living there in a luxurious home long term may present something called "rock fever." This condition is just the feeling you get when you feel entrapped on the island, surrounding by water. Previously in the United States, you likely felt more freedom in going where you pleased. Planning trips is a good way to get around this.

The lifestyle you experience on your new living arrangement will probably be slower than what you are accustomed to. This is especially true if you lived in the city, where food, traffic, and entertainment can be had near instantaneously. In the islands, you are more likely to see traffic jams concerning animals, slower speed limits, and generally a slower-paced lifestyle.

The locals are usually considered very polite. They are not rushed individuals, and instead like to engage in friendly conversation- even if it's just a shop worker talking to a customer. It even goes as far as a driver stopping to say hello to a friend- potentially holding up traffic. It's times like these where the hustle and bustle lifestyle needs to go, and a new appreciation for friendliness and relaxation needs to come about.

The real estate you have in mind is going to take time in searching. Some islands are more expensive, while others are considered less so. There are plenty of lower-class and high class properties to choose from. You only need help from a real estate agent familiar with the Caribbean islands to get an idea of what you can obtain. Your budget, preferences, and prerequisites can all be satisfied.

In Conclusion

The move to the Caribbean is a great idea. You may consider going there for vacation first to see if it could be a good fit for you. If it does seem so, start making plans for the move and perhaps even pick up a book or two about the Caribbean for extra knowledge.

Japanese Cosplay as a Form of Art

By Michele Hiromi

Japanese Cosplay is about the person becoming a chosen character or idea. The person looks and acts exactly like the character they are portraying.

All over the world in modern day subcultures are forming, concentrating on wearing specific costumes and act out the chosen characters behaviour. Many of the cosplayers take characters from fantasy films, books, comic characters, and science fiction roles, and in instances they imitate the animal kingdom representing mostly mythical creatures such as dragons and unicorns.

Competitions and festivals are held worldwide, with emphasis particularly in Japan each year where people gather to exhibit their exquisite Japanes cosplay costumes as well as viewing other cosplayer's costumes, most of the costumes being handmade and others ordered to specification from shops specializing in costumes.

Tailors and seamstresses are now cashing in on this opportunity and make excellent livings from the Japanese cosplayer fanatics. Costumes are made to specification even down to the finest details of the character portrayed; nothing is changed from the original item and design. The finer details are exact matches, like the thread used, ribbons, and colours and so on.

In Japan there are specialized clubs that cater for the sex industry and these clubs are called image clubs. Staff working at the clubs; also dress up as animation characters. Both males and females cross dress while cosplaying.

Terms and conditions have been set by cosplay groups, that whatever character you have chosen to dress up as, you have to become the character, in words, action and nature. Japanese cosplay is not only dressing up and acting out, there are also a rich culture as well as tradition behind the character they have chosen to portray.

Japanese cosplay originated in Japan, and majority of cosplay still takes place in Japan. Cosplay is considered to be typical behaviour in Japan, and has spread across the globe just as anime has becoming a popular hobby and various print media features cosplayers.

However there are costumes worn without any conviction by Japanese cosplayers that westerners would not consider wearing as it would be culturally not correct like a Nazi uniform or any other uniforms worn by dictators in the past. Japanese cosplay does not only cover specified role playing but covers all kinds of obsessive fandom.
