A Few Halloween Costume Ideas

By Alan Fischer

It's almost that time of year. Don't look just yet, but Halloween is quickly approaching and now is the best time to get that costume you've been looking for. Not only are costumes very readily available at this point, but you'll also find better deals. Prices usually tend to rise when you wait until the last minute, and I doubt you want to find yourself in a situation like that.

There's really no use in leaving things for the very end. Everyone is out during those last few days. Lines are long, there's little left in the stores, and you'll usually end up getting something that's one of the last things left on the rack. What you want will probably be sold out by then.

Be proactive and get your costume before everyone else does. You'll have the chance to be more creative, and you'll end up getting what you want. As for what you do want, if you're not sure yet, I have a few suggestions that you may find useful.

How about dressing up as someone famous? People love to see celebrity Halloween costumes. One suggestion I could make is to dress up as that famous singer who wowed the entire world via a video that spread like wildfire, Susan Boyle.

If you're a male, it seems like Michael Jackson will be a hot commodity this year for Halloween. Many will look to honor the King of Pop by dressing up as him in tribute.

You might need a wig, and you'll probably need some makeup to go with his signature white glove. If you have a knack for singing, or especially dancing, you'll be a hit.

Then there's our new president. Love him or hate him, there will be people dressing up as him on both sides, and in different variations.

With just a few creative pieces, you can probably make your own Obama Halloween costume. This could be a really interesting way to go.
