Some Comical Motion Picture Suggestions To View Today

By Evelyn S Morgan

A great comedy film is enjoyable for everyone. Now and then we just need to sit back, unwind and laugh a bit. Here are a couple of recommendations for some remarkable amusing movies that you can download and enjoy tonight.

Hilarious movie but for adults only, try out "The 40 Year Old Virgin". Steve Carell plays Andy Sitzer, a nice-looking but sexually innocent 40-year-old guy. When his buddies and co-workers find out, they all go on a mission to get him laid. Many humorous mishaps and adventures follow.

At the end he falls in love with Trish, a 40-year-old single mom of three and he finds that it is still better to do it with someone you love. Directed by Judd Apatow and starring Steve Carell, Catherine Keener, Paul Rudd, Seth Rogan, Elizabeth Banks and others. Rated R for persistent sexual subject matter, language and a little drug use. Not suggested for children or someone easily upset by sexual situations. From the year 2005.

"Dodgeball, A True Underdog Story": Silly and amusing motion picture about a group of misfits who must win a dodgeball contest in order to save their beloved gym, called Average Joe's gym from becoming part of a gym franchise called Globo gym.

Starring Vince Vaughn as Peter, the proprietor of Average Joe's gym and Ben Stiller as White Goodman, the president and founder of the gym franchise, Globo Gym. Look out for the unexpected cameo role appearance by Lance Armstrong. Can a group of misfits make a dream come true? Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, from the year 2004.

The third suggestion is a hilarious motion picture that is based upon an even more humorous TV show from the 1960's. "The Beverly Hillbillies" is adapted from the uproarious TV series of the same name. The Clampetts move to Beverly Hills when they become millionaires after finding oil on their Arkansas property.

Well cast with Jim Varney as Jed Clampett and Cloris Leachman as Granny. Lily Tomlin is cast as Miss Jane Hathaway. Diedrich Bader plays the part of Jethro Bodine and Erika Eleniak fits the part of Elly Mae Clampett. Directed by Penelope Spheeris, from the year 1993. A great adaptation, yet nothing could be funnier than the original TV series.

There you have just a couple of recommendations for a amusing movie. Try one tonight, you can download it directly to your own computer in just a matter of minutes.
